Improvements to project navigation in Jira Software

New improvements to Jira project navigation are now available in the early access program. Project navigation was restructured to the groups like Planning, Development, and Operations, which better represents the actual workflow of Software development teams.

The categories are also collapsible, so if you're focusing only on development and planning, you can collapse the Operations section, where you can usually find Opsgenie "On-call" tab and deployments.

You can find boards and tabs related to boards like backlog, active sprints, or kanban in the planning section. This section is also highlighted with a blue color to help you easily distinguish board context from non-board-related menu items.

If you want to try out this new navigation experience, you can find out how to switch the feature on in this community post.

New Event - Enterprise Readiness

Next, an important topic for Atlassian and everyone else - Enterprise readiness in Cloud. The Enterprise Cloud team at Atlassian is holding a Product Team Talk to discuss enterprise readiness in Cloud with the developer community. If you want to get in on that discussion and let Atlassian know what's important to you, sign up and join the discussion on December 8th.
